Our mothers taught us all some important things…  Logic – if you fall off that swing and break you neck you can’t go to the store with me.  Thinking Ahead – if you don’t pass that spelling test Tuesday you will never get a good job.  How to become an adult – if you don’t eat you veggies you’ll never grow up.  But our mothers also taught us other very important things.  We should be thankful for what we learned from them.

After Jesus had performed the miracle of feeding thousands of people he instructed the disciples to collect the food the remained uneaten.  He told told them it was important none of the leftover scraps were wasted or lost.  Jesus said he came to seek and to save the lost.  We must remember that sometimes the little things are important – if not to us then they are to God.  We must be faithful in the little things to prove our fiathfulness in the big.

We often think we own what we have.  We work hard for it so it belongs to me.  God reminds us that we are not owners, we are managers.  As managers or stewards of God’s wealth and resources we have a great responsibility to do things God’s way – not our own.

Usually when we say God gave someone a new heart we are speaking of a spiritual change that took place in a life.  Brother Leroy was given a new heart in more ways than one.  While serving as a pastor of a church he suffered a heart attack.  The damage to his heart ultimately was so severe he would not survive without a heart transplant.  God, who supplied all our needs, blessed Brother Leroy with a new heart so that doctors could transplant it into his body.  In this podcast Brother Leroy shares his testimony and encourages us to leave our mark for Christ wherever we go.
