I completely destroyed the Amalekites and brought back Agag their king. The soldiers took sheep and cattle from the plunder, the best of what was devoted to God, in order to sacrifice them to the Lord your God at Gilgal.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/em><strong>1 Samuel 15:20-21 NIV<\/strong><em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>But Samuel replied: \u201cDoes the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice \u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>Every act of obedience is a demonstration of our love to the One who loved us first.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u2026 this is love for God: to keep his commands.
