Martha served, and Lazarus was among those who ate&nbsp;with him.&nbsp;Then Mary took a twelve-ounce jar&nbsp;of expensive perfume made from essence of nard, and she anointed Jesus\u2019 feet with it, wiping his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance.But Judas Iscariot, the disciple who would soon betray him, said,&nbsp;\u201cThat perfume was worth a year\u2019s wages.&nbsp;It should have been sold and the money given to the poor.\u201d&nbsp;Not that he cared for the poor\u2014he was a thief, and since he was in charge of the disciples\u2019 money, he often stole some for himself. Jesus replied,&nbsp;\u201cLeave her alone. She did this in preparation for my burial.&nbsp;You will always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/em>John 12:1-8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The greatest among you will be your servant.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/em>Matthew 23:11<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>So [Jesus] got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples\u2019 feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/em>John 13:4-5<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>A Godly Woman, Who Serves Jesus, Forgives Like Jesus<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.&nbsp;But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/em>Matthew 6:14-15<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed.&nbsp;When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals\u2014one on his right, the other on his left.&nbsp;Jesus said,&nbsp;\u201cFather,&nbsp;forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.\u201d&nbsp;And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/em>Luke 23:32-34<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>A Godly Woman Breaks Bread Like Jesus Did<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Son of Man came <u>eating and drinking<\/u>\u2026&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/em>Luke 7:34<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>They devoted themselves to the apostles\u2019 teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/em>Acts 2:42-47<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>\u2026With Other Believers At Church<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward <u>love<\/u> and <u>good deeds<\/u>,not giving up <u>meeting together<\/u>, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another\u2014and all the more as you see the Day approaching. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em>Hebrews 10:24-25<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>\u2026With A Committed Community<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u2026They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.
