But in the New Testament, God calls us to something even greater than the offerings of the Old Testament: to become <em>living sacrifices.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This message explores what that looks like in everyday life. Through Scripture, we see six ways we can offer spiritual sacrifices that please God \u2014 through our bodies, our love, our faith, our generosity, our praise, and our good works. Each one reminds us that true worship isn\u2019t confined to an altar or a Sunday service; it\u2019s the daily offering of ourselves to God in everything we do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>The Sacrifice Of Your Body<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice\u2014the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.&nbsp; Don\u2019t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God\u2019s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.<\/em>&nbsp; Romans 12:1-2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>The Sacrifice Of Love<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved usand offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.&nbsp; <\/em>Ephesians 5:2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>The Sacrifice Of Faith<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.&nbsp; <\/em>Philippians 2:17<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>The Sacrifice Of Generosity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>At the moment I have all I need\u2014and more! I am generously supplied with the gifts you sent me with Epaphroditus. They are a sweet-smelling sacrifice that is acceptable and pleasing to God.<\/em>&nbsp; Philippians 4:18<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>The Sacrifice Of Praise<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name.&nbsp; <\/em>Hebrews 13:15<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>The Sacrifice Of Good Works<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>And don\u2019t forget to do good and to share with those in need.
