The Bible gives us a clear description &#8211; Shepherds and Servants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>1 Shepherds \u2013 Powerful In The Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>He chose his servant David, calling him from the sheep pens. He took David from tending the ewes and lambs and made him the shepherd of Jacob\u2019s descendants\u2014&nbsp;God\u2019s own people, Israel. He cared for them with a true heart and led them with skillful hands.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/em>Psalm 78:70-72<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Proclaim<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u2026feed my sheep.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/em>John 21:7<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Pray<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Then we apostles can spend our time in prayer and teaching the word.<\/em>&nbsp;&nbsp; Acts 6:4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>As for me, I will certainly not sin against the Lord by ending my prayers for you\u2026&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/em>1 Samuel 12:23<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Protect<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>So guard yourselves and God\u2019s people. Feed and shepherd God\u2019s flock\u2014his church, purchased with his own blood\u2014over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as leaders.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/em>Acts 20:28<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Prepare<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God\u2019s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.<\/em>&nbsp;&nbsp; Ephesians 4:11-12<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>2 Servants \u2013 Powerful In Deed, Displaying Mercy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Direct<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Distribute<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/em>John 13:35<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are many different idea about what church leadership should look like.
