Memorial Day is about remembering those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Pentecost is about Jesus sending the Holy Spirit to empower the church to accomplish its mission. As Americans, we need to ask ourselves what we will do in response to the sacrifice of others for our freedom. It is not enough for the church to just remember that Jesus died and rose again. We need to ask ourselves, What will I do because Jesus gave the ultimate sacrifice for our sins?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
