Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.<\/em>&nbsp; Proverbs 3:5-6<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why Do We Struggle to Make Good Decisions?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. We Lack Discipline<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls.<\/em>&nbsp; Proverbs 25:28<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Better to be patient than powerful; better to have self-control than to conquer a city.<\/em>&nbsp; Proverbs 16:32<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. We\u2019re Overwhelmed with Choices<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. We\u2019re Afraid<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. We let our Emotions Decide<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!&nbsp; Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit\u2019s leading in every part of our lives. Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.<\/em>&nbsp; Galatians 5:22-26<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>We must Decide in Advance!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>But Daniel was determined not to defile himself by eating the food and wine given to them by the king.
