Most of Life\u2019s Battles are Won or Lost in our Mind<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can\u2019t. 19 I want to do what is good, but I don\u2019t. I don\u2019t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway. 20 But if I do what I don\u2019t want to do, I am not really the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it. 21 I have discovered this principle of life\u2014that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. 22 I love God\u2019s law with all my heart. 23 But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. 24 Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? 25 Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God\u2019s law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin.<\/em>   Romans 7:18-21<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are human, but we don\u2019t wage war as humans do. 4 We use God\u2019s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. 5 We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.<\/em>   2 Corinthians10:3-5<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Live will move in the Direction of our Strongest Thoughts<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. \u201cEat and drink!\u201d he says to you, But his heart is not with you.   <\/em>Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s in Our Minds will Come out In our Lives<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEither make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. 34 Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. 36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.\u201d<\/em>  Matthew 12:33-37<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You Cannot Have A Positive Life When You Have a Negative Mind<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.<\/em>  2 Peter 1:3<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus said to the people who believed in him, \u201cYou are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. 32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.\u201d  33 \u201cBut we are descendants of Abraham,\u201d they said. \u201cWe have never been slaves to anyone. What do you mean, \u2018You will be set free\u2019?\u201d  34 Jesus replied, \u201cI tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin. 35 A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.<\/em>    John 8:31-36<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
