A Committed Faith is Christ Centered, Not Self-Centered<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>When all the people&nbsp;heard of Jesus\u2019 arrival, they flocked to see him and also to see Lazarus, the man Jesus had raised from the dead.&nbsp;10&nbsp;Then the leading priests decided to kill Lazarus, too,&nbsp;11&nbsp;for it was because of him that many of the people had deserted them&nbsp;and believed in Jesus. 12&nbsp;The next day, the news that Jesus was on the way to Jerusalem swept through the city. A large crowd of Passover visitors&nbsp;13&nbsp;took palm branches and went down the road to meet him. They shouted, \u201cPraise God! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the&nbsp;Lord! Hail to the King of Israel!\u201d 14&nbsp;Jesus found a young donkey and rode on it, fulfilling the prophecy that said: 15&nbsp;\u201cDon\u2019t be afraid, people of Jerusalem. Look, your King is coming,&nbsp;riding on a donkey\u2019s colt.\u201d 16&nbsp;His disciples didn\u2019t understand at the time that this was a fulfillment of prophecy. But after Jesus entered into his glory, they remembered what had happened and realized that these things had been written about him. 17&nbsp;Many in the crowd had seen Jesus call Lazarus from the tomb, raising him from the dead, and they were telling others; about it.&nbsp;18&nbsp;That was the reason so many went out to meet him\u2014because they had heard about this miraculous sign.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/em>John 12:9-18<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. A Committed Faith is Relationship Driven<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cNot everyone who calls out to me, \u2018Lord! Lord!\u2019 will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.&nbsp;22&nbsp;On judgment day many will say to me, \u2018Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.\u2019&nbsp;23&nbsp;But I will reply, \u2018I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God\u2019s laws.<\/em>&nbsp;&nbsp; Matthew 7:21-23<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. A Committed Faith isn\u2019t Swayed<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now as He drew near, He saw the city and&nbsp;wept over it,&nbsp;42&nbsp;saying,&nbsp;\u201cIf you had known, even you, especially in this&nbsp;your day, the things&nbsp;that&nbsp;make&nbsp;for your&nbsp;peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.&nbsp;43&nbsp;For days will come upon you when your enemies will&nbsp;build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side,&nbsp; &nbsp;Luke 19:41-43<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
