 <\/sup><\/em>For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith\u2014and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God\u2014 not by works, so that no one can boast.  <\/em>Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can\u2019t just claim to have Genuine<\/u> faith. We have to put it into action.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

But don\u2019t just listen to God\u2019s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.\u201d   <\/em>James 1:22<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.  <\/em>James 1:19<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anger is A Thief<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

People with understanding control their anger; a hot temper shows great foolishness..  <\/em>Proverbs 14:29<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A hot-tempered person starts fights;  a cool-tempered person stops them.   <\/em>Proverbs 15:18<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Better to be patient than powerful; better to have self-control than to conquer a city.  <\/em>Proverbs 16:32<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession.  <\/em>James 1:18<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires.  <\/em>James 1:20<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genuine Faith Cultivates Righteousness<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives,\u2026  <\/em>James 1:21(a)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Receive the Word (Seed)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u2026and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls..  <\/em>James 1:21(b)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises.
