Every Warrior Must Fight Their Fear Of Failure<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Then the\u00a0Lord\u00a0turned to him and said, \u201cGo with the strength you have, and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I am sending you!\u201d \u201cBut Lord,\u201d Gideon replied, \u201chow can I rescue Israel? My clan is the weakest in the whole tribe of Manasseh, and I am the least in my entire family!\u201d The\u00a0Lord\u00a0said to him, \u201cI will be with you. By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world\u2019s corruption caused by human desires.   <\/em><\/strong>2 Peter 1:3-4 NLT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0Lord\u00a0said to Gideon, \u201cYou have too many warriors with you. If I let all of you fight the Midianites, the Israelites will boast to me that they saved themselves by their own strength.\u00a0Therefore, tell the people, \u2018Whoever is timid or afraid may leave this mountain\u00a0and go home.\u2019\u201d So 22,000 of them went home, leaving only 10,000 who were willing to fight.. But the\u00a0Lord\u00a0told Gideon, \u201cThere are still too many! Bring them down to the spring, and I will test them to determine who will go with you and who will not.\u201d\u00a0When Gideon took his warriors down to the water, the\u00a0Lord\u00a0told him, \u201cDivide the men into two groups. In one group put all those who cup water in their hands and lap it up with their tongues like dogs. In the other group put all those who kneel down and drink with their mouths in the stream.\u201d\u00a0Only 300 of the men drank from their hands. All the others got down on their knees and drank with their mouths in the stream. \u00a0The\u00a0Lord\u00a0told Gideon, \u201cWith these 300 men I will rescue you and give you victory over the Midianites. Send all the others home.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/em> <\/em>Judges 7:2-7 NLT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
