{"id":14,"date":"2015-10-30T17:19:25","date_gmt":"2015-10-30T17:19:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/loah.org\/marsd\/?page_id=14"},"modified":"2022-05-04T10:20:22","modified_gmt":"2022-05-04T15:20:22","slug":"what-to-expect","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/loah.org\/marsd\/what-to-expect\/","title":{"rendered":"What to Expect"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>At LOAH You Will Find<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Casual Atmosphere<\/strong> &#8211; It is our desire to have a relaxed and informal worship environment. &nbsp;You don&#8217;t have to get dressed up to fit in. &nbsp;Come as you are.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Friendly People<\/strong> &#8211; We believe LOAH has some of the most friendly people in all of East Texas. &nbsp;They are here to welcome you and make you feel comfortable worshiping with us.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Contemporary Music<\/strong> &#8211; We worship with today&#8217;s worship songs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Relevant Bible-Based Teaching<\/strong> &#8211; All of our teaching is firmly based on the unchanging Word of God but it is presented in a way to make it relevant and applicable to your daily life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Something For Everyone<\/h3>\n<p>We are a diverse group of people from babies to our young-at-heart in their 90&#8217;s. &nbsp;We are multicultural and have people from all different kinds of backgrounds. &nbsp;We are joined together by our love for Jesus and our love for each other.<\/p>\n<h3>Sunday Mornings<\/h3>\n<p>We begin our Sunday mornings with breakfast from 9:00-9:30 a.m. &nbsp;At 9:30 we have our Sunday School which is an interactive teaching environment. &nbsp;Come learn more about the Bible and how it relates to your life. &nbsp;During this time we also have a class for Kids (ages 3 to 12) and a nursery is available as needed.<\/p>\n<p>At 10:30 we all gather for a time of praise and worship. The Kids join in with the adults to worship in song. &nbsp;Afterwards they head off to Kid&#8217;s Church while Pastor Tommy or Pastor Jesse teach from the Word.<\/p>\n<h3>Wednesday Evenings<\/h3>\n<p>In our midweek gathering we are currently doing a study going through the whole Bible looking at the main points. &nbsp;It is not a verse-by-verse but instead is an overview to give us a better understanding of the Bible overall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At LOAH You Will Find Casual Atmosphere &#8211; It is our desire to have a relaxed and informal worship environment. &nbsp;You don&#8217;t have to get dressed up to fit in. &nbsp;Come as you are.
