The men from the Magnolia Campus of Adult & Teen Challenge will be joining us for morning worship on Sunday, September 20. They will be ministering during the service and sharing some of their testimonies of what God has done in their lives. We always enjoy having the men and women from Adult & Teen Challenge with us, and Light On A Hill Church is thankful to be able to support this ministry each month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the morning service, we will have a meal together. The church will be providing smoked turkey, and we are asking everyone to help out with the side dishes. If you would like to bring something, please see Amber Loew to sign up. We hope you will plan to stay after service, enjoy the meal, and spend some time visiting with our guests from Adult & Teen Challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet At CR8 Building (210 W Chestnut)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Community Ladies Bible Study meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at The CR8 Building, 210 W. Chestnut in Grapeland. This community-wide gathering brings together women from across the area and from various churches for fellowship, study, and encouragement. The group is currently studying the Gospel of John, and newcomers are welcome to join at any time. The meeting is informal, and there is no need to dress up. Food is served, door prizes are given each month, and there is no cost to attend. The study is open to all women of all ages (no childcare is available). Love Prepares Us for the Wedding<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God\u2019s word. He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault.<\/em>   Ephesians 5:25-27<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christ\u2019s Work In Us Did Not Stop At Salvation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Love Changes The Way We Prepare<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dear friends, we are already God\u2019s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure.  <\/em> 1 John 3:2-3<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wedding Day Is Coming<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honor to him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself. She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.\u201d For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God\u2019s holy people\u2026 Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.  <\/em> Revelation 19:7-9<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.  <\/em> Revelation 21:2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026Look, God\u2019s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.<\/em>   Revelation 21:3<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Man On The Middle Cross<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n


I heard the preacher talking
About three wooden crosses
