The Light Still Shines<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Join us as Light On A Hill Church celebrates 25 years of God’s faithfulness on Sunday, July 12, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On July 15, 2001, a small group of families gathered with a vision to shine the light of Christ in our community. Over the past twenty-five years, God has blessed that vision in countless ways through worship, ministry, discipleship, missions, and lives changed by the Gospel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This special anniversary service will be a time to reflect on God’s faithfulness, celebrate His work through the church, and look forward to what He has in store for the future. We are honored to welcome Ronnie Jordan, a founding member of Light On A Hill Church, as our guest speaker for the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the worship service, we invite everyone to stay for a fellowship meal as we reconnect with old friends, share memories, and celebrate together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether you have been part of Light On A Hill Church from the beginning, attended somewhere along the journey, or are a member of our church family today, we would love for you to join us for this special celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet At CR8 Building (210 W Chestnut)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Community Ladies Bible Study meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at The CR8 Building, 210 W. Chestnut in Grapeland. This community-wide gathering brings together women from across the area and from various churches for fellowship, study, and encouragement. The group is currently studying the Gospel of John, and newcomers are welcome to join at any time. The meeting is informal, and there is no need to dress up. Food is served, door prizes are given each month, and there is no cost to attend. The study is open to all women of all ages (no childcare is available). Join us on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 as we begin a new study on the letters from the Apostle Paul to the Corinthian Church. This new study begins October 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hold Your Peace<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God\u2019s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.   <\/em>Philippians 4:6-7<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Don\u2019t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father\u2019s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going.   <\/em>John 14:1-4<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 I am leaving you with a gift\u2014peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don\u2019t be troubled or afraid.   <\/em>John 14:27<\/p>\n\n\n\n
