Wedding Policy
While we believe making Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior is the most important life-changing decision you can make, choosing the one with whom you will spend the rest of your life in the sacred covenant or marriage is incredibly significant.
Marriage should align with the biblical standards God has given to us. Believing marriage is a holy and sacred gift from God, it is our desire that couples approach marriage according to a way that is pleasing to God.
At Light On A Hill Church we believe in the sanctity of marriage according to Mark 10:6-9.
But ‘God made them male and female’ from the beginning of creation. ‘This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.’ Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together.
We believe the Holy Scriptures teach that marriage is only between one man (male) and one woman (female).
The grounds of Light On A Hill Church are available for weddings only to members regularly attending the church who meet all biblical requirements for church membership. All weddings held at Light On A Hill Church must be approved by the Senior Pastor.
