On Sunday, March 2, 2025, we had the joy of celebrating the baptism of Gavyn Wells at Light On A Hill Church. Gavyn, a young adult high school student, publicly professed his faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized by Associate Pastor Jesse Loew.
After committing his life to Christ, Gavyn felt led to take this next step of faith in obedience to God’s Word. Surrounded by his family, friends, and church community, he made a powerful declaration of his trust in Jesus as his Savior.
Baptism is a beautiful symbol of our new life in Christ, and we are overjoyed to walk alongside Gavyn in his spiritual journey. Please join us in praying for him as he continues to grow in faith and live out God’s purpose for his life!
We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
