Comfortable Christianity

“I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. … Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”   Revelation 3:15-17, 19-20 NIV

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.    1 John 2:15 NIV

I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference.   Revelation 3:19 NLT

Do something EVERY day that requires faith

Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.   Revelation 3:20 NLT
