Jesus Lamb of God

Jesus Lamb of God

In this message, Pastor Tommy focuses on Jesus’s title as the “Lamb of God,” which carries profound significance in the context of salvation.

The Lamb of God is the ultimate solution to the deeply rooted problem of sin. Scripture makes clear the immeasurable value of Jesus’ sinless blood in atoning for humanity’s sins.

Jesus, as the Lamb of God, offers hope, redemption, and inner peace to all who turn to Him in faith. We should be inspired to become beacons of light in our community, sharing the life-changing message of Christ’s saving grace with those searching for purpose and meaning.

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!    John 1:29

For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And the ransom he paid was not mere gold or silver. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.    1 Peter 1:18-29

Then I saw a Lamb that looked as if it had been slaughtered, but it was now standing between the throne and the four living beings and among the twenty-four elders.   Revelation 5:6

There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.    John 14:2-3

But as they came closer to Jerusalem and Jesus saw the city ahead, he began to weep.    Luke 19:41

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.     Matthew 11:28

He was despised and rejected—a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief.  We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.    Isaiah 53:3

How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes.   Luke 19:42

Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.   Galatians 2:16
