Last Sunday was a day to remember at Light On A Hill Church (LOAH). We celebrated Mother’s Day by recognizing not just the moms in our congregation but all the incredible women who make our church community so special.
After the morning service, the men of LOAH took charge of the kitchen and treated us to a fantastic meal. They grilled up delicious steaks, perfectly paired with fresh salad and baked potatoes loaded with all the fixings. To top it all off, they served a heavenly cheesecake drizzled with a secret recipe caramel-walnut sauce. It was a feast that left everyone well-fed and happy.
The meal was more than just great food; it was a wonderful time of fellowship. We laughed, shared stories, and enjoyed each other’s company. The love and appreciation for the women of our church were palpable, making the day even more special.
Events like this remind us of the strong, supportive community we have at LOAH. We’re thankful for the men who went above and beyond to make the day memorable and for the women whose presence and contributions continually enrich our church life.
