Last Sunday, June 16th, we had a blast celebrating Father’s Day at our church! It was a day full of love, laughter, and a great message from Pastor Tommy that really hit home for all of us.
During the service, Pastor Tommy talked about how carpenters use a tape measure as a standard for their work. He compared this to Kingdom builders needing a standard too – the Word of God. It was a cool way to show us how important it is to base our lives on God’s teachings.
At the end of the service, we surprised the men with goodie bags! Inside were tape measures to remind them of the message and yummy cookies baked by the ladies. It was our way of saying thanks for all they do for our church family.
Father’s Day wasn’t just about celebrating dads; it was also about recognizing the Kingdom builders among us. It was a day to appreciate everyone who helps build up God’s Kingdom right here with us.
