Progressing or Regressing

Progressing or Regressing

Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong.    Romans 14:1

1 You Are Perfect Just As You Are

For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation.    2 Corinthians 7:10

2 Jesus Did Not Need To Die On The Cross

3 Resurrection Doesn’t Have To Be Historical

And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins.    1 Corinthians 15:17

4 God Doesn’t Care Who You Sleep With

But because there is so much sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman should have her own husband.    1 Corinthians 7:2

“Haven’t you read the Scriptures?” Jesus replied. “They record that from the beginning ‘God made them male and female.’ And he said, ‘This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.’ Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together.”    Matthew 19:4-6

5 Using (Misusing) The Word Love

We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.    1 John 4:16

Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.    Matthew 7:21

6 Promoting Feelings Over Facts

There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.   Proverbs 14:12

“Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’   Matt 7:21-23

7 Redefinition of Terms

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.   2 Timothy 3:16-17

Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love. 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
