What Does It Mean to Be the Bride of Christ – 1 Loved Like a Bride

Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”   Genesis 2:18

This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one.   Ephesians 5:32

For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her   Ephesians 5:25

But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.   Romans 5:8

to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word… she will be holy and without fault.    Ephesians 5:26-27

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me   John 10:28
