Witness To The Resurrection

We may not have been present at the resurrection and therefore we may not be eyewitnesses to the empty tomb but we are witnesses to the life-changing impact the empty tomb has had on our lives.


You must not convict anyone of a crime on the testimony of only one witness. The facts of the case must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses. Deuteronomy 19:15

This is the third time I am coming to visit you (and as the Scriptures say, “The facts of every case must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses”). 2 Corinthians 13:1

So now we must choose a replacement for Judas from among the men who were with us the entire time we were traveling with the Lord Jesus— 22 from the time he was baptized by John until the day he was taken from us. Whoever is chosen will join us as a witness of Jesus’ resurrection. Acts 1:21-22

Many people have set out to write accounts about the events that have been fulfilled among us. 2 They used the eyewitness reports circulating among us from the early disciples. Luke 1:1-2

During the forty days after his crucifixion, he appeared to the apostles from time to time, and he proved to them in many ways that he was actually alive. Acts 1:3

 He was seen by Peter and then by the Twelve. 6 After that, he was seen by more than 500 of his followers at one time… 1 Corinthians 15:5-6
